To constantly re-engage with users, you need to become a part of their daily habits. Google Assistant users can already use Routines to execute multiple Actions with a single command, perfect for those times when users wake up in the morning, head out of the house, get ready for bed or many of the other tasks we perform throughout the day.
Here are the following steps -
1. Go to Build
2. Invocations Tab
- Create Invocation
- Fill all the required fields
- Make Sure to enable “use it as Routine” Option
On successful creation go to Build Page
Edit welcome flow : Hover on the block and click on the edit icon
Add next step response
Edit next step, under intent, select your invocation which you created as routine.
Edit next step, under actions you will see “Routine Subscription” as a options in “All features” section
Edit Routine Subscription
Select routine and a follow-up message as given below
4. Go to Setup Page
- From setup page, make sure to click on one-click deploy to deploy again after creating invocations
From Setup Page go to Manage Tab
By clicking on enable routine you will be redirected to google console.
Make sure to enable URL from the link tab and daily updates from engagement tab for your Action, so that users can discover and directly engage with itGo to Deploy Tab, from here click on test on google console
Now you can see a Suggestion for Routines with the same name you gave to next step.
By Clicking on the routine chip, Users will be asked for which time they want to get routine as shown below.
From Analytics Tab you can see how many users subscribed for routines and how many users opened routines notification.
